This newly strung necklace is made with agate and quartz beads that were produced by the people of the Tiarona civilization in what is today Columbia, South America. The central bead is a representation of a grub worm which were both a food source and critical for use during this period as a red cloth dye which was very prestigious. The bone spacers are modern, and the findings are 18k. Circa 800 – 1000 AD.
