Tiger Tiger travels to Nepal several times a year where we buy these Human Bone Malas. We buy them from the workshops near the Stupas in Kathmandu. Since we see them being made, there is no question of their authenticity. They are made from the remains of people that donate their bodies to the Temple. The monies received go to support local projects. They are used as a subtle reminder of the impermanence of life. They should be treated with respect. We sell these either bleached white, or antiqued.
