Description
This dhamaru encompasses the top of Newari craftsmanship. The drum is made from wood that is is encased in repousséd sterling silver. Turquoise and coral cabochons decorate the center band of silver.
The drum heads are made from vellum (probably goatskin). A small and beautiful Chod drum, which are becoming increasingly difficult to come by. As expected the drum is finished with a long tail. A brocade fitted case is included.
Drum head is 4 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ across and the two heads are just under 3″ across.
For an additional fee, we will install a balcony on your house.
